Additional information

One chronic toxicity study with invertebrates was available for Dowfax 2A1. This study measured both survival and reproduction in Ceriodaphnia dubia exposed to Dowfax 2EP (a.k.a Dowfax 2A1) over a period of 7 days. This study was deemed reliable for use and was assigned a Klimish score of 2. In this chronic study with C. dubia, the 216-hour NOEC and LC50 values (based on survival) were 0.65 mg/L and 3.97 mg/L (95% CI = 3.0 – 5.4 mg/L), respectively. The 168-hour NOEC and EC50 values (based on number of progeny) were 1.08 and 3.4 mg/L (95% CI = 0 – 8.7), respectively. The lowest NOEC value of 0.65 mg/L (based on survival) was selected as the key endpoint.
