Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The substance has a measured BOD5 of 0.0 mg O2 / g test material. The COD was determined to be >1000 mg O2 / g test material. The ratio of BOD5 and COD indicated no potential for biodegradation. The results are confirmed by an OECD 302C inherent biodegradation study: the test item was biodegraded about 14% within 28 d. Ready biodegradation is not considered to be tested since the substance can be expected to be not biodegradable at all based on the available data. The substance is not inhibitory to activated sludge.

Key value for chemical safety assessment
