Description of key information

EC50 (48 h) Daphnia magna = 2.3 mg/L (arithmetic mean measured, OECD 202)

ErC50 (72 h) Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata = 0.23 mg/L (geometric mean measured, OECD 201)

ErC10 (72 h) Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata = 0.15 mg/L (geometric mean measured, OECD 201)

Additional information

Two OECD guideline studies (GLP) are available, which assessed the aquatic toxicity of the substance on two different trophic levels. The aquatic algae (Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata) turned out to be the most sensitive organism with an ErC50 (72 h) of 0.23 mg/L (geometric mean measured concentration) based on the inhibition of growth rate followed by the aquatic invertebrates (Daphnia magna; EC50 (48 h): 2.3 mg/L based on arithmetic mean measured concentrations).
