The test substance is a UVCB of very low solubility and with a high potential for adsorption. Analytical methods of sufficient accuracy and sensitivity could not be developed for the substance. As such, testing for hydrolysis and adsorption could not be conducted.

Hydrolysis testing would neither be appropriate or feasible for this substance due to the low solubility and the lack of a suitable analytical method.

Though experimental values for adsorption coefficient could not be determined due to issues of technical feasibility, QSAR estimates of the adsorption coefficient were made based on molecular connectivity index and estimated log Kow. The QSAR estimates indicate that the substance will be highly adsorptive, and thus be immobile in soil and will partition strongly to sediment in the water column.

Ready biodegradability studies conducted for a read-across substance indicate that the substance is not readily biodegradable or inherently biodegradable. However, the results do indicate that the substance will ultimately degrade in the environment and will not be persistent.

A QSAR estimation was conducted to assess the bioaccumulative potential of the substance. The estimated bioaccumulation factor for OLEIC_DimerFA_TETA_PAA was 33.3 L/kg ww, indicating that the substance has a low potential for bioaccumulation.
