The 24 h screening measurements were performed with a concentration of the test item of 100 mg/l. At pH = 6, approx. 0.23 mg/L Zn and less than 0.001 mg/L Sn were found in the solution, after 24 hours of leaching time. The same procedure was performed at pH = 8.5 and the concentration of both metals were found to be less than 0.03 mg/l. Therefore, the full test was conducted at the most relevant pH with respect to ecotoxicology, i.e. at pH 6. The results are presented in the following tables:
