burning rate test: preliminary screening test
Remarks on result:
other: According to the result of the preliminary test the test substance is not considered as a flarnmable solid.

Interpretation of the results

According to the result of the preliminary test the test substance is not considered as a flarnmable solid.

The result does not lead to a classification.

Remarks

The sample was stored and handled under nitrogen as far as possible. Exposure to light was avoided as far as possible.

Description of key information

The test substance is not considered as a flarnmable solid.
The substance has no pyrophoric properties and does not liberate flammable gases in contact with water.
The substance is not a self-heating substance or mixture.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Flammability:
not classified

Additional information

According to the result of the preliminary test the test substance is not considered as a flarnmable solid.

Based on chemical structure pyrophoric properties and flammability in contact with water are not to be expected.

The substance or mixture does not need to be classified as self-heating as the substance is a solid with a melting point less than 160 °C.

Justification for classification or non-classification

Classification, Labelling, and Packaging Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008:

Based on the chemical structure and taking into account the provisions laid down in Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008, as amended for the sixth time in Regulation (EC) No 605/2014., the substance is not considered to be classified as flammable, flammable in contact with water, pyrophoric or self heating substance.
