Additional information

The acute lethal toxicity of the reaction mass to Danio rerio (Zebrafish) was investigated under semi-static exposure conditions over a period of 96 h, according to the test guideline OECD 203. The nominal test concentrations were 12.5, 25.0, 50.0, 100 and 200 mg/L. Seven fish per test concentration were exposed to the test item, and seven fish were used for the control. At the nominal concentration of 200 mg/L, all seven fish died within the first 2 hours of exposure. At 100 mg/L, two fish out died between 48 and 72 h of exposure. All other fishes did not show any particular other effects.

Based on these data, the median lethal concentration (LC50) of the reaction mass to Danio rerio after 96 h of exposure was determined to be 117 mg/L. The NOEC was determined to be 50.0 mg/L.
