Executive summary:

The melting/freezing temperature was determined using EU Method A.1 and Differential Scanning Calorimetry. During the heating phase a distinct endothermic effect was observed in the temperature range of -70 to -50 °C in duplicate, which can be associated with the melting of the test substance. As the onset temperatures in both tests deviate by more than 0.5 K from their mean value, the test substance has a melting point of -58.7 °C at 1009.0 hPa (atmospheric pressure).
