First-aid measures

Eyes: Rinse with plenty of water for a least ten minutes. If irritation persists, seek medical advice.

Skin: Wash with large quantities of water. If irritation persists obtain medical advice.

Ingestion: Seek medical attention immediately.

Inhalation: Remove the patient to fresh air and keep at rest. Obtain medical attention immediately.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agents: carbon dioxide, dry chemical and foam may be used. Products arising frm burning or pyrolysis: products of combustion may contain oxides of carbon.

Protection equipment: a self-contained breathing apparatus should be worn.

Accidental release measures

To avoid a possible contamination of the environment, contain spilled material. Cover with an inert, inorganic, non combustible absorbent material, sweep up and remove to an approved disposal container.

Avoid open flames or other source of ignition.

Avoid inhalation of vapors

Handling and storage

Handling: ensure adequate ventilation. Safety glasses, chemical resistant gloves and respiration protection (in poor ventilated area) should be worn.

Storage: store in dark, cool dry, well ventilated area, in tightly sealed, preferably full containers.

Exposure controls / personal protection

Industrial hygiene: in accordance with good manufacturing and industrial practices.

Engineering controls: extract dust vapour at point of emission. Avoid atomisation. When processed use closed and explosionproof electrical equipment. Take precautions to avoid build-up of electrostatic charges while pouring, pneumatic transport, etc.

Personal protection equipment: respiratory protection, in well ventilated areas respiration protection is not normally required. If confined or poorly ventilated areas, the use of an appropiate respiratory protection may be required.

Hand protection: the use of nitrile gloves is recommended.

Skin protection: avoid contact with skin.

Ventilation: provide adequate ventilation; use local exhaust fan if necessary.

Stability and reactivity

Reactivity: no data available.

Conditions to avoid: encessive heat, open flames or other sources of ignition.

Disposal considerations

Dispose by incineration acording to local laws.
