The surface tension of a solution of Decenal-4-trans in ultra pue water (69 mg/l, 90% of saturation concentration) was determined according to the OECD Guideline No. 115, using the ring method.

Therefore according to this test, it was considered that the test material is surface active (surface tension < 60 mN/m).
