Analysis of test solutions for P 70/05/S-4 0 hours and 48 hours after test start resulted in concentrations ranging between 94 and 107 % of nominal. The test concentrations were found within ± 20 % of nominal throughout the test. Therefore, all results are based on the nominal concentration.

The test item was dissolved directly in dilution water.
The test solutions were prepared in the following way:
- Weighing of 50.0 mg P 70/05/S-4
- Filling with dilution water up to 250 mL
(= stock solution A, containing 200 mg P 70/05/S-4/L)
The test solutions of the chosen concentration was prepared directly in the test vessels by dilution of the stock solution with dilution water immediately before the transfer of the Daphnia into the test vessels.
