Conclusions:
The melting point of N-[(3(5)-Methyl-1 H-pyrazol-1 -yl)-methyl]acetamide was determined according to OECD guideline 102. The test item showed a melting range, no defined melting point. As the test item consists of a mixture of two components, this is considered as normal. A slight residue was observed, also. It is believed that this belongs to an impurity. No observations were made which might cause doubts on the validity of the study outcome. The melting range was determined as 94.5 to 121.9 °C (367.7 to 395.1 K). These values are the means of two independent determinations.
