Applicant's summary and conclusion

Interpretation of results:
other: Not classified
Conclusions:
The acute dermal LD50 value was considered to be >2000 mg/kg bw, when rats were treated with sodium ethenesulfonate (CAS no: 3039-83-6) by dermal application.
Executive summary:

Acute Dermal toxicity study of sodium ethenesulfonate (CAS no: 3039-83-6) was conducted according to OECD guideline 402 in rats at the concentration of 2000 mg/kg bw. No mortality was observed in treated rats at 2000 mg/kg bw. Therefore, LD50 was considered to be >2000 mg/kg bw, when rats were treated with sodium ethenesulfonate by dermal application.
