toxicity to terrestrial plants: short-term
Data waiving:
exposure considerations
Justification for data waiving:
the study does not need to be conducted because direct and indirect exposure of the soil compartment is unlikely

Description of key information

Based on the chemical safety assessment, exposure of soil organisms to the levels of tin difluoride used is not expected to lead to unacceptable risks to soil organisms. Further, the conduct of a study of the toxicity to terrestrial plants is not be expected to contribute any relevant information to the chemical safety assessment of tin difluoride. As a result, the need for such testing is waived.
