The mean value, multiplied by the calibration factor yields: WF = WxF = 70.04 mN/m.

After correction with respect to the table given in the Method (Harkins-Jordan correction), the final value for the surface tension at 20°C is 69.9 mN/m.

Conclusions:
Under the study conditions, the surface tension (Harkins-Jordan corrected) of the test substance at 20°C was determined to be 69.9 mN/m.
Executive summary:

A study was conducted to determine the surface tension of the test substance according to EU Method A.5 in compliance with GLP.

The determination of the surface tension was carried out by the ring method with an aqueous solution of the test substance at a concentration of 1000 mg/L.

Under the study conditions, the surface tension (Harkins-Jordan corrected) at 20°C was determined to be 69.9 mN/m.
