Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data

Endpoint:
hydrolysis
Data waiving:
study technically not feasible
Justification for data waiving:
the study does not need to be conducted because the substance is highly insoluble in water
Justification for type of information:
JUSTIFICATION FOR DATA WAIVING
In an OECD Guideline 111 study, the test substance concentration should not exceed half of the saturation concentration (which means <0,935 mg/L) and we need assess if 10% of the test substance hydrolysed in 5 days. Moreover there are two isomers and measurement of both in a mixture further complicates the study. Therefore, it's technically not feasible to measure the hydrolysis of this substance at this low solubility. Finally, from the structure of the isomers, the molecules are not expected to hydrolyse.
