Executive summary:

To investigate the toxicity of the test substance to soil macroorganisms a study on earthworms was performed according to OECD Test Guideline 207. 4 replicates of 10 earthworms each were exposed in artificial soil to 1000 mg/kg dw of the test substance for 14 d ays. No mortality or abnormal signs were observed. According to the result, the 14d LC50 of the test item to earthworms (Eisenia foetida) was greater than nominal 1000 mg/kg dw under the test conditions.

Description of key information

The toxicity of the test substance to soil macroorganisms was investigated in a study on earthworms performed according to OECD Test Guideline 207. 4 replicates of 10 earthworms each were exposed in artificial soil to 1000 mg/kg dw of the test substance for 14 d ays. No mortality or abnormal signs were observed. According to the results, the LC50 (14 d) of the test item to earthworms (Eisenia foetida) was greater than nominal 1000 mg/kg dw under the test conditions.
