Single values for the category or individual UVCB members are not applicable The auto flammability range for substances included in this category is 280 to 470°C.
The auto flammability range for substances that comprise the Low Boiling Point Naphthas (Gasolines) category is 280 to 470°C (Eaton 1990).The CONCAWE (2010) “Compilation of selected physico-chemical properties of petroleum substances” report also reports auto flammability for the gasoline naphtha category to be >200°C. Additionally, TOTAL (1979) reported self-ignition temperature of commercial gasoline to be 495°C (Commercial gasoline 100LL); 445°C (Commercial gasoline; low NOM); and 435°C (commercial gasoline; high NOM). Due to the highly flammable nature of gasoline naphthas, this measurement if considered irrelevant. It is also not possible to define a single self-ignition temperature for a UVCB substance.
