Description of key information

The test material is not classified as a flammable solid as it failed to ignite in the preliminary screening test. Bentonite acid leached is not considered to be pyrophoric or flammable when in contact with water.

Justification for classification or non-classification

The test material failed to ignite in the preliminary screening test. Bentonite acid leached is not considered to be pyrophoric or flammable when in contact with water based on experience and handling in use therefore a classification is not warranted.
