Additional information

In an extended closed-bottle test conducted according to the OECD guideline 301 F, biodegradation (ThOD) values of 51% at day 28 and 64% at day 60 were obtained for the test substance. Therefore, the test substance showed an high potential for biodegradation even if it did not fulfill the criteria for ready biodegradability. The REACH Guidance on Information Requirements R.7b states ‘When results of ready biodegradability tests indicate that the pass level criterion is almost fulfilled (i.e. ThOD slightly below 60%) such results can be used to prove inherent biodegradability.’, Therefore the test substance is considered to be inherently biodegradable. The biotic degradation potential of the test substance does not need to be investigated further.
