Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information - workers

Assessment and correction factors were taken from the ECHA guidance document "Guidance on information requirements and chemical safety assessment; Chapter R.8: Characterisation of dose [concentration]-response for human health" along with appropriate equations and methodologies.

The worker population has been characterised as highly homogenous (aged between 18-65, with the majority of individuals male, but a potential for some female individuals). As a higher level of homogeneity is expected than is described in the ECHA guidance document R.8, a lower assessment factor for intraspecies variation (workers) is deemed appropriate. The ECETOC Technical Report No. 86 " Derivation of Assessment Factors for Human Health Risk Assessment" suggests an intraspecies variation (worker) assessment factor of 3, which describes a more homogenous worker population than is described in the ECHA document R.8. In the absence of any further justified assesment factors, this value has been adopted as the most appropriate assessment factor for intraspecies variation (workers).
