The decreasing of the pH-value with the incubation time indicates some sort of hydrolytic activity.

Conclusions:
In a valid guideline study (OECD 105, with GLP) using the columns elution method the solubility of Isobornyl acrylate in water was determined to be 19.8 mg/L at 20 °C and pH 6.06. Therefore, the test substance is considered to be slightly soluble.
Executive summary:

In a valid guideline study (OECD 105, GLP) using the Flask method the solubility of isobornyl acrylate in water was determined to be 19.8 mg/L at 20 °C. The pH value of all test solutions was 6.06.

Analyses were performed by HPLC-UV on a reversed-phase column (C 18). All samples were checked to ensure that no colloidal material was present by measuring the Tyndall effect.

In conclusion, the test substance is considered to be slightly soluble. Decreasing pH values with rising incubation times indicate some sort of hydrolytic activity of the test item.
