First-aid measures

Eye contact: Rinse with plenty of water.


Skin contact: In case of contact, immediately flush skin with soap and plenty of water.  If symptoms persist, call a physician.


Inhalation: If breathed in, move person into fresh air.  If symptoms persist, call a physician.


Ingestion: If large quantities of this material are swallowed, call a physician immediately.

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable extinguishing media: Use extinguishing measures that are appropriate to local circumstances and the surrounding environment.  Use water spray, alcohol-resistant foam, dry chemical or carbon dioxide


Extinguishing media which must not be used for safety reasons: Do NOT use high volume water jet.


Special protective equipment for fire-fighters: Wear self contained breathing apparatus for fire fighting if necessary.


Special exposure hazards in a fire : Hazardous decomposition products - non known. 


Further information : Water mist may be used to cool closed containers.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions: Use personal protective equipment.  Ensure adequate ventilation.


Environmental precautions: Try to prevent the material from entering drains or water courses.


Methods for cleaning up: Shovel into suitable container for disposal. Clean contaminated surface thoroughly.

Handling and storage
