In the preliminary screening test the substance doesn't ignite by a hot flame from a gas burner. The test item just melts.

According to the definition in the Council Regulation (EC) No 440/2008, method A.10, the substance is not considered as flammable.

Based on experience in handling and use and the chemical structure pyrophoricity and flammability on contact with water are not to be expected.

The substance is not self-heating. It is a solid completely molten at 160 °C.

Justification for classification or non-classification

The available data on flammability of the test substance do not meet the criteria for classification according to Regulation (EC) 1272/2008, and are therefore conclusive but not sufficient for classification: No propagation of burning in a test according to EU Method A.10.

Based on the chemical structure and experience in handling and use, pyrophoricity and flammability on contact with water are not expected. As a solid completely molten at 160 °C, the substance is not self-heating.
