First-aid measures

· After inhalation:

Supply fresh air and to be sure call for a doctor.

In case of unconsciousness place patient stably in side position for transportation.

If not breathing, give artificial respiration.

· After skin contact:

Immediately wash with water and soap and rinse thoroughly.

Remove contaminated clothing.

· After eye contact: Rinse opened eye for several minutes under running water.

· After swallowing: If symptoms persist consult doctor.

· Information for doctor: Treat symptomatically and supportively.

· The following symptoms may occur:

Exposure to high concentrations may cause headache, nausea, and dizziness due to reduced chlolinesterase

activity.

Exposure to skin and eye results in redness and pain.

Abdominal pain may occur after ingestion.

Fire-fighting measures

· Suitable extinguishing agents: Powder, foam, carbon dioxide.

· For safety reasons unsuitable extinguishing agents: Hydrous agents, water.

· Special hazards caused by the substance, its products of combustion or resulting gases:

Gives off irritating or toxic fumes (or gases) in a fire.

Carbon, monoxide, carbon dioxide and phosphorus oxides can also be released in case of fire.

· Protective equipment:

Wear self contained breathing apparatus.

Wear fully protective suit.

· Additional information

Cool containers with spray water from safe distance.

Prevent firefighting water from entering surface water or ground water.

Accidental release measures

· Person-related safety precautions:

Wear protective equipment. Keep unprotected persons away.

Do not inhale vapour/aerosols. Ensure supply of fresh air in enclosed rooms.

· Measures for environmental protection:

Inform respective authorities in case of seepage into water course or sewage system.

Do not allow to enter sewers/ surface or ground water.

· Measures for cleaning/collecting:

Absorb with liquid binding material (sand, diatomite, acid binders, universal binders, sawdust).

Ensure adequate ventilation.

Keep away from ignition sources.

Handling and storage

· Handling:

· Information for safe handling:

Ensure good ventilation/exhaustion at the workplace.

Handle under dry protective gas.

Keep containers tightly sealed.

· Information about fire - and explosion protection:

Keep ignition sources away - Do not smoke.

Protect against electrostatic charges.

· Storage:

· Requirements to be met by storerooms and receptacles: Store in a cool and dry place.

· Information about storage in one common storage facility:

Store away from oxidizing agents.

Store away from water.

Store away from air.

· Further information about storage conditions:

Exposure controls / personal protection

· Additional information about design of technical facilities:

Provide exhaust ventilation or other engineering controls to keep the airborne concentrations of vapors below

their respective threshold limit value.

· Ingredients with limit values that require monitoring at the workplace: Not required.

· Additional information: The lists valid during the making were used as basis.

· Personal protective equipment:

· General protective and hygienic measures:

Keep away from foodstuffs, beverages and feed.

Immediately remove all soiled and contaminated clothing

Wash hands before breaks and at the end of work.

Avoid contact with the eyes and skin.

· Respiratory protection:

In case of brief exposure or low pollution use respiratory filter device. In case of intensive or longer exposure

use self-contained respiratory protective device.

Stability and reactivity

· Thermal decomposition / conditions to be avoided:

No decomposition if used according to specifications.

Heating should be avoided.

· Materials to be avoided: Oxidizing agents, air, water.

· Dangerous reactions

Reacts with oxygen at low temperatures to form an explosive product.

Reacts with water, acids and strong oxidants, causing fire and explosion hazard.

Disposal considerations

· European waste catalogue

07 01 wastes from the manufacture, formulation, supply and use (MFSU) of basic organic chemicals

0 8 0 4 wastes from manufacture, formulation, supply and use (MFSU) of adhesives and sealants

(includingwaterproofing products)

· Uncleaned packaging:

· Recommendation: Disposal must be made according to official regulations.
