General Information

Name:
alkyl imidazoline substance
Implementation:
EU
Remarks:
Self classification according to Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 and ATP03. Depending on the manufacturing processes, this UVCB-substance may contain various levels of residual AEEA (2-(2-aminoethylamino)ethanol, CASRN 111-41-1, EC 203-867-5). AEEA is a hazardous substance listed in Annex VI with a harmonised classification and specific concentration limits. Different grades of the registered substance containing different levels of the impurity have to be classified and labelled accordingly (EC 1272/208).
Data for classification with regard to aquatic toxicity were taken from the structurally related substance (Z)-2-(8-Heptadecenyl)-4,5-dihydro-1H-imidazole-1-ethanol (CAS-No. 21652-27-7).
