Conclusions:
In a GLP study according to OECD Test Guideline 211 (21-day Daphnia magna reproduction test), the NOEC for acute toxicity of the test substance was determined to be 0.189 mg/L.
Executive summary:

The chronic toxicity of the test substance to daphnids was evaluated in a study according to OECD Test Gudieline 211 (Daphnia magna reproduction test) under GLP conditions. In a semi-static study Daphnia magna were exposed for 21 days. The test material was applied directly to the test vessels. Analytical monitoring was performed. All validity criteria were fulfilled. The NOEC based on reproduction (increased time to first brood release or time to hatch) is determined to be 0.189 mg/L based on measured concentrations.

Additional information

One study investigating the long-term toxicity of the test substance to aquatic invertebrates is available. The study was performed according to OECD guideline 211 under GLP conditions (Noack 2008). The test material was applied directly to the test vessels. Analytical monitoring was performed. All validity criteria were fulfilled. The NOEC based on reproduction (increased time to first brood release or time to hatch) is determined to be 0.189 mg/L based on measured concentration.
