Additional information

Two acute studies (on fish and daphnia) and one on algae were available for this substance.

First, in the 96 -hour acute toxicity study on zebrafish (Brachydanio rerio), conducted under GLP and following OECD guideline, the LC50(96h) were comprised between 10 to 16 mg/L.

Then, in the 48 -hour acute toxicity study on Daphnia magna, conducted under GLP and following OECD guideline, the EC50(48h) = 26.1 mg/L.

Finally, the 72 -hour acute toxicity study on green algae (Scenedesmus subscpicatus), conducted under GLP and following OECD guideline, the EC50(72h) = 160 mg/L

Therefore, based on the results of these studies, the most sensitive species is zebrafish.

The LC50 is calculated by regression analysis (assuming LC0 of 10 mg/L and LC100 of 16 mg/L). This gives a LC50 of 13 mg/L.

The LC50 value from fish will be used to PNEC calculation.
