An elder guideline study in compliance with a recognised quality system or by laboratories complying with a relevant recognised standard, such as EN ISO/IEC 17025 was conducted according DIN 51 794.
The study determined the auto-ignition temperature to be 350 °C at 1013.25 hPa.
A new guideline study in compliance with a recognised quality system or by laboratories complying with a relevant recognised standard, such as EN ISO/IEC 17025 was conducted according DIN EN ISO/IEC 80079-20-1 to determine the minimum ignition temperature of gases and vapours. The auto-ignition temperature of the substance was determined to be 377 °C at 1013.25 hPa.
The result from the newer study was chosen as key value for the auto-ignition temperature.
