2-[(1-methylpropyl)amino]ethanol aquatic toxicity profile has been investigated on different levels of the trophic chain. Based on the results obtained it can be conclude that the substance is harmful to algae with an ErC50 _72h of 27 mg/L. However, no toxicity was observed to daphnia, fish and microorganisms at the highest concentrations tested. Two chronic data are also available on algae and daphnia. The lowest NOEC was obtained on daphnia with a value of 0.32 mg/L.
