Remarks on result:
substance does not ignite and propagate combustion either by burning with flame or smouldering along 200 mm of the powder train within the 2 minutes test period

None

Interpretation of results:
GHS criteria not met
Conclusions:
FAT 20085/B TE should be considered as not highly flammable.
Executive summary:

Flammability of FAT 20085/B TE was evaluated in a study conducted according to EU Method A.10. A preliminary screening test was performed to determine if, on ignition by a gas flame, propagation by burning with flame or smoldering occurs. If propagation over 200 mm of the train piled from test substance, occurs within a specified time, then a full test programme to determine the burning rate was to be carried out. However no ignition occured within two minutes, hence the test item was classified as not highly flammable and no determination of burning rate was necessary.

Description of key information

The test item FAT 20085/B TE should be considered as not highly flammable.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Flammability:
not classified

Additional information

No ignition was observed throughout the course of the test. The test item FAT 20085/B TE should be considered as not highly flammable.

Justification for classification or non-classification

No ignition was observed throughout the course of the test. The test item FAT 20085/B TE should be considered as not highly flammable. The results do not warrant classification according to EU GHS.
