2-methylglutaric acid, under its molten form, has no flash point.

2-methylglutaric acid is a low melting point solid that can be stored under a molten form; making the flash point measurement important. An experimental study, scored as Klimisch 1, was conducted and selected as a key study. It was performed in compliance with GLP according to EC A.9 test method.
