The solid substance did not propagate combustion in the tests A.10 and N.1 (UN TDG). The substance is not readily combustible. Two studies are available for this endpoint. The information given is considered to be relevant, reliable, adequate for risk assessment, and adequate for classification purposes.
Based on functional groups of chemical structure the substance is neither pyrophoric nor flammable on contact with air.
Justification for classification or non-classification
Flammable solids: Based on the available information the substance does not meet the criteria for classification as "flammable solid" under Regulation (EC) 1272/2008, Annex I, Part 2, 2.7.2; reason for non-classification: conclusive but not sufficient for classification.
"Pyrophoric solids": Based on the available information the substance does not meet the criteria for classification as a "pyrophoric solid" under Regulation (EC) 1272/2008, Annex I, Part 2, 2.10.2; reason for non-classification: conclusive but not sufficient for classification.
"Substances and mixtures which in contact with water emit flammable gases": Based on the available information the substance does not meet the criteria for classification as a "substance which in contact with water emits flammable gases" under Regulation (EC) 1272/2008, Annex I, Part 2, 2.12.2; reason for non-classification: conclusive but not sufficient for classification.
