Additional information

Fatty acids, tall-oil, C12-15-alkyl esters, sulfated, sodium salts, was tested with daphnia magna in accordance with OECD 202 and ISO 6341. The result shows a NOEL 48h= 10 mg/L, EC50 48h= 32 mg/L and EC100 48h= 100 mg/L. Based on the high insolubility of the susbatcne and the missing anaytical identification, it is possibile that this test would be not reliable. It is possibile that the insoluble paticles or the surfactant property of the substance interfere with the respiratory system of the Daphnia, making difficult the movements for then, whithout a real toxicity. As a precautionary approach, the substance has been in any case classified based on this test.
