The rate of hydrolysis of the substance at pH values normally found in the environment (pH 4-9) was determined in a GLP-compliant study according to EC C.7, OECD 111 and EPA OPPTS 835.2120 guidelines. The test substance was shown to degrade by a pseudo-first order behaviour with half-life times and pH 4, pH 7 and pH 9 at 25°C of 9 days, 9 hours and < 1h, respectively.

From a GLP compliant Closed Bottle Test (OECD 301D) it is concluded that the test substance is not readily biodegradable.

The HPLC method at neutral pH using soil-adsorption-reference data was applied for the determination of the adsorption coefficient (Koc) of the test substance. The log Koc value for the test substance was < 1.32 (Koc < 20.9). The study was performed according to EC C.9 and OECD 121 and in accordance with the principles of GLP.
