Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information
Additional information
The test material was a pale grey solid at room temperature and should be stored at room temperature in the dark, has a Melting/Freezing temperature greater than 450°C (723 K) and its density has been determined to be 5.23 x 103 kg/m3 at 21.0 ± 0.5 °C.
Particle size data acquired for the test item is as follows:
Proportion of test item having an inhalable particle size <100 µm (Sieve method): 7.91 %
Proportion of test item having a thoracic particle size <10.0 µm (Cascade Impactor method): equal to or <0.135 %
Proportion of test item having a respirable particle size <5.5 µm (Cascade Impactor method): equal to or < 0.105 %
The water solubility of the test item based on the dissolved metallic elements has been determined at 20.0 ± 0.5 °C and the results are as follows:
Titanium : equal to or < 1.42 x 10-5 (g/L); (Equivalent Concentration as Test Item (g/L): equal to or < 5.44 x 10-5)
Strontium: equal to or < 1.02 x 10-3 (g/L); (Equivalent Concentration as Test Item (g/L): equal to or <2.14 x 10-3)
The vapor pressure of the test item has been determined to be less than 2.1 x 10-5 Pa at 25°C.
The test item has been determined not to have a relative self-ignition temperature below 400°C.
The test item has been determined to be not highly flammable as it failed to ignite in the preliminary screening test.
Based on the chemical structure of the test item the result for the explosive properties has been predicted negative.
The test item has been determined not to have oxidizing properties as the test item/cellulose mixtures failed to propagate combustion over the full 200 mm of the test.
