Administrative data

First-aid measures

General information: Immediately remove any clothing soiled by the product.

Inhalation: Supply fresh air. Seek medical treatment in case of complaints.

Ingestion: If swallowed, rinse mouth with water (only if the person is conscious). Induce vomiting only, if affected person is fully conscious. Drink plenty of water and provide fresh air. Consult a doctor immediately.

Eye contact: Rinse opened eye for several minutes under running water. Consult a doctor.

Skin contact: Immediately wash with water and soap and rinse thoroughly. If skin irritation continues, consult a doctor.

Information for doctor: Treat symptomatically.

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable extinguishing agents: The product is not flammable. Use fire extinguishing methods suitable to surrounding conditions.

Special hazards caused by the substance, its products of combustion or resulting gases: In case of fire, the following can be released: Carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide

Protective equipment: Wear self-contained respiratory protective device. Wear fully protective suit.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions:

Wear protective clothing. Avoid formation of dust. Avoid contact with the eyes and skin.

Environmental precautions:

Damp down dust with water spray. Do not allow to enter sewers/ surface or ground water.

Measures for cleaning/collecting:

Pick up mechanically. Avoid formation of dust.

Send for recovery or disposal in suitable receptacles.

Dispose of the material collected according to regulations.

Handling and storage

Handling:

Wear protective clothing. Avoid contact with the eyes and skin.

Provide suction extractors if dust is formed. Any unavoidable deposit of dust must be regularly removed.

Storage:

Store receptacle in a well ventilated area. Keep container tightly sealed. Protect from humidity and water. Store in dry conditions.

Thermal decomposition / conditions to be avoided: No decomposition if used and stored according to specifications.

Disposal considerations
