First-aid measures

Inhalation: Remove to fresh air. Keep patient warm and at rest. In case of feeling unwell consult a physician.
Skin contact: Rinse with water. Wash off immediately with plenty of water removing all contaminated clothes and shoes. If symptoms persist, call a physician.
Eye contact: Rinse immediately with plenty of water, also under the eyelids, for at least 10 minutes. If symptoms persist, call a physician.
Ingestion: Rinse mouth with water. Do NOT induce vomiting. If vomiting occurs naturally, lean victim forward to reduce risk of aspiration. Rinse mouth. Obtain medical attention.

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable extinguishing media: Use extinguishing measures that are appropriate to local circumstances and the surrounding environment.
Specific hazards during fire fighting: Heating can release hazardous gases.
Special protective equipment for fire-fighters: In the event of fire, wear self-contained breathing apparatus.
Specific methods: The product is flammable but not readily ignited.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions: Use personal protective equipment. For personal protection see below. Wear respiratory protection.
Environmental precautions: Try to prevent the material from entering drains or water courses.
Methods for cleaning up: Neutralise with sodium carbonate or bicarbonate. Flush with plenty of water.

Handling and storage

Handling: Provide appropriate exhaust ventilation at places where dust is formed. Keep container closed when not in use. Avoid breathing dust. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing. Ensure that eyewash stations and safety showers are close to the workstation location.

Storage: Keep tightly closed in a dry and cool place.

Occupational exposure controls: Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice. Ensure adequate ventilation. In
case of insufficient ventilation, wear suitable respiratory equipment.
