Biomass Residue (liquid) obtained after B2 production is neither corrosive nor irritating to skin (tests according to OECD 431 and draft guideline/EU B.40 and EU B.46).

Biomass Residue (liquid) obtained after B2 production is not irritating in the BCOP test (OECD 437) and is non-irritating in the vivo eye irritation test (OECD 405 and EU B.5).

Justification for classification or non-classification

According to the results of the skin and eye irritation studies, the substance does not need to be classified according to the CLP Regulation (EC) 1272/2008 and neither according to Council Directive 67/548/EEC (DSD).

There is no information available on the inhalation route.
