Additional information

A study was performed to estimate the adsorption coefficient (Koc) of 2-[(1-Methylpropyl)amino]ethanol by HPLC according to the OECD 121 guideline and GLP requirements (Sydney, 2012). As the test substance is an ionisable compound, separate tests were conducted at each of pH 5, 7 and 9 in order to have information on pH-dependence. 2-[(1-Methylpropyl)amino]ethanol was determined to have log10Koc values of 1.6, 3.0 and 4.2 at pH 5, 7 and 9 respectively (equivalent to Koc values of 38, 1100 and 17000). The test was considered to be valid.
