Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The preliminary test has shown that the test substance in buffered solution of pH 4 was hydrolysed by more than 10 % in period of 5 days. Therefore the test substance was considered to be hydrolytically unstable.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Half-life for hydrolysis:
1.22 d
at the temperature of:
22 °C

Additional information

The preliminary test has shown that the test substance in buffered solution of pH 4 was hydrolysed by more than 10 % in period of 5 days. Therefore the test substance was considered to be hydrolytically unstable.

The results of Tier 2 have shown the linear dependence of logarithm of concentration on time. The hydrolysis in buffered solution of pH 4 was considered to be described as a pseudo-first order reaction.

In Tier 3, a major hydrolysis product of the test substance was identified by mass spectrometry. Positive-ion mass spectra were recorded in mass range 50-1000 Daltons in all experiments (RT = 2.14 min).
