Remarks on result:
other: The water solubility of Sulfosuccinic (isoFA C10)diE, Na is greater than 170 g/L. Sulfosuccinic (isoFA C10)diE, Na is miscible with water in any proportion. With increasing amount of test item a gel is formed.

With 2.1 g of test item being mixed with 10 g of water, a gel with a total weight of approximately 12.1 g has been formed. This is equivalent to 17.3 % (w/w) of test item in solution/gel.

 

As the density of the water will significantly increase with addition of the test item, it can be concluded that water solubility is about 170 g/L, resulting in a gel.

 

Due to the fact, that the formation of the gel is a continuous process and no discrete point can be identified at which dissolution in water switches to gelling, the water solubility can be approximated to > 170 g/L.

 

Thus the following results can be reported:
