The partition coefficient of Fatty acids, C16-18 (even numbered), aluminum salts could not be determined because the substance does not dissolve in water. QSARs are not available for substances containing aluminum. Therefore the partition coefficients of the components are given instead.
For the aluminum part of the substance the partition coefficient is not applicable because it is inorganic.
The partition coefficients of the two main fatty acid components (stearic acid and palmitic acid) were estimated by a validated calculation method.
