Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

at the temperature of:
20 °C

Additional information

The vapour pressure of the test item Fatty acids, C16-18 (even numbered), aluminum salts was determined with the use of Grain-Watson estimation as outlined in OECD Guideline 104. The experimental result of the DSC method was not in the appropriate validity range with respect to this method. The calculation is based on the lowest possible boiling temperature, which in fact is probably a decomposition temperature. Thus, the obtained value should be considered as an upper limit of the vapour pressure and accepted for the risk assessment calculations in the sense of a "worst case scenario".
