Irritant / corrosive response data:
Reversibility of any observed effect: Changes fully reversible within 7 days
Other effects:
- COLORATION:
Staining of the conjunctivae incl. nictitating membrane
and sclera) was noted in all animals up to and including
day 21 (day of termination).
Light violet staining of the cornea was noted in two of
three animals but was reversible by day 7.
- IRRITATION :
Slight to moderate swelling and slight to moderate discharge
of the conjunctivae was noted in all animals. These
findings were reversible within 48 hours.
- CLINICAL SIGNS:
No clinical signs noted during the test.
