Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The adsorption potential of the substance was determined in two studies according to OECD TG 106 and EPA 163.1 and Canada PMRA T-1-255 (equilibrium batch method). Under the conditions of the tests covering 10 soils Arithmetic mean Koc is determined to be 2485 L/kg. There is a calculation available for the Henry’s law constant endpoint. In this calculation, Henry's law constant of 1.9E-04 Pa·m3/mol for syn-isomer and 3.7E-05 Pa.m3/mol for anti-isomer of the substance (at 25 °C) was determined. One column leaching study (OECD TG 312) is available for studying the distribution of the substance in the soil. Three Brazilian soils were used: Argissolo (clay loam, soil I). Latossolo (Clay, Soil II) and Neossolo (loamy sand, soil III). In all soils, most radioactivity was distributed in the 0 - 5 cm layer. In lower layers, radioactivity was < 0.5% AR for 2 soils. The third soil showed1.4% AR in the 5 -10 cm layer and < 0.5% AR for the remaining soil (> 10 cm layer). Only the parent compound was found in the top layer in all three soil extracts. The relative mobility factor for soil I, soil II and soil III were 0.12 (immobile), 0.24 (slightly mobile), and 0.09 (immobile), respectively.
