After 2-min ultrasonic treatment, two populations were obtained, the main population around 10 µm and a smaller one around 800 nm. The sample that was not treated ultrasonically before measurement only showed one population around 10 µm.

Conclusions:
Based on the results of the laser diffraction measurements, it can be concluded that the d10, d50 and d90 values of the untreated test item were 1.5, 7.2 and 26.2 µm, respectively.
