Description of key information
Based on the structural similarities and calculated values, it is considered justifiable to apply results from the epoxidised oil ETP to Fatty acids, C12-20 and C12-20-unsatd., 2-ethylhexyl esters for the derivation of the hydrolysis endpoint. The estimated half-life at 25°C of the test material is > 1 year.
Fatty acids, C12-20 and C12-20-unsatd., 2-ethylhexyl esters are stable to hydrolysis. In accordance with REACH Annex VIII column 2, no further information is required as the substance is readily biodegradable.
