In accordance with Annex VIII column 2 of the Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 REACH the test on adsorption / desorption does not need to be performed if the substance decomposes rapidly. The test item is readily biodegradable, therefore, no test on adsorption is needed. Additionally, the test item has a low log Kow (1.52), therefore, it has no potential for bioaccumulation and no test on adsorption is needed.
