Executive summary:

A study was conducted according to OECD TG 115, Regulation (EC) No 440/2005 Part A, A.5, ASTM D1331-11 and ISO 304 (1985) to determine the surface tension of an aqueous solution of the test item using the ring method. A test solution of the test item was prepared in distilled water. For this purpose 100 mL double distilled water were added to 100.35 mg of the test item to create a solution with a concentration of 1.00 g/L. This solution was measured twice. The aqueous solution of the test item has a mean surface tension of 32.9 mN/m. Thus, the test item is to be regarded as surface active.
